My engine was rebuilt. I painted the engine bay while waiting for the engine to be completed.
I put the engine back in and tried to start the car. Now I get no spark to the spark plugs. The starter works but the engine wont start. I ground out a spark plug and didn't see any spark when I tried to start the car.
the reason I bring up the painging of the bay is I was wondering if there was a ground issue some place
also could the Crank Position sensor stop spark?

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor /distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, ECM, Ignitor camshaft and crankshaft sensors and computer. Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

I tried replacing the distributor with one that was off a car that was running. That didn't work either. I checked the harness. Its ok too
