I just want to know how to change the camshaft position sensor on my car and also I would like to know where is the crankshaft position sensor on my car located? Thanks

CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
1.Remove distributor from engine. (Camshaft position sensor harness connector should remain connected.)
2.Disconnect ignition wires.
3.Turn ignition switch "ON".
4.Rotate distributor shaft slowly by hand and check voltage between terminals "c", "d" and ground.

If NG, replace distributor assembly with camshaft position sensor.

5.Visually check signal plate for damage or dust.

I checked my crankshaft position sensor location, but I found that my car has a s13 tranny instead of a s14 which it doesnt have a cps on the s13, my question is will I have any problems passing smoke check because of not having the cps on my car?

Try to get the emission test w/o the CPS and make sure the CEL comes on and goes off when it suppose to and see what happens.

Today I checked my ecu for codes and got a 12 and 82 code, the 82 is for not having a crankshaft position sensor and 12 is my maf meter sensor. I just want to now what should I do with the code 12, should I replace my maf or do I have to replace the meter sensor?Thank u for ur support

Try cleaning the mass airflow sensor with an approved cleaner, don't work its your shot-also check its wiring

I forgot to tell u that one day I cleaned my maf with carb cleaner, could that damage my maf, and today I cleaned it a maf cleaner, but the car still die on me when warming up. Thanks
