Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Nissan 240SX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I blew a valve cover gasket and had it repaired. They test drove it and after about an hour of run-time, the NEW gasket blew out also. They said that the pressure in the engine was too high and they couldn't figure out why without taking the motor apart. Is this a common problem? Is there something they might have overlooked that could be causing the excess pressure build-up, or should I start looking at buying a new motor/car altogether?

take off the pcv valve, and the breather vavle from the valve covers, and drive it. gasket still blow out?

make sure the gasket isnt being overtorqued. try putting oil on it before sticking it on and torquing it down!
