I have a 240sx with a sr20det engine swap in it, but the electrical system for the most part is the exact same. My problem is that when I turn my headlights on the left one doesnt come on, but when I turn the brights on the right one doesnt come on.

Make sure the bulbs are good. They have two separate filaments, so it's possible to have the high out on one side and low out on the other.

If this happened after the engine/harness swap I would look more towards a wiring issue.
