Well I have good news it is probably just the gromet that goes on the brake pedal arm that releases the switch to turn on the brake lights. However I also have bad news. It is a bitch to replace sorry for my language but when you go and replace it you will see what I mean also if your car has cruise control then you will have two holes so to plug with a gromet.
