I replaced rear main seal, manifold casket, oil pan casket, oil sending unit, and PCV valve as well as the oil filter w/new oil. Started up fine after replacing all the above mentioned items. But not long after when cranking over, it started to take longer to crank until eventually the cranking was getting slower over time. I had a auto parts store check it out with one of their meters, they said my battery's charge was fine, alternator was working, but they said the voltage regulator wasn't working and that would cause my battery to leak (from over charging). This battery was less than a year old, bought it new from Bi-Mart (34P, 840 crank, 700 cold crank). I finally took it back to Bi-Mart they tested it, It was dead, so they replaced it with a new one (same size), but the new battery they gave me started leaking also the very next day from the vent holes. The first time it broke down was on a Friday at work, got off work and it wouldn't start, it cranked over but no start. Did this several times, I finally gave up and got a ride home. Went back to work Monday and Tuesday both days I tried starting it, but only got the same thing (cranked over, but no start). So I had it brought home on a roll back tow truck. As soon as the tow truck driver left I thought I would give it one more try, it started I couldn't believe it. Of course my luck changed the next time I drove it.

Everything ran fine and I had no problems starting or battery leaks before the day I replaced main rear seal and everything else I mentioned replacing. Now my Jeep sometime cranks over, but it stalls while driving. Also the lights will flash and the horn blares intermittently. I replaced the fuel filter after the second time of breaking down and it started fine next day I drove it down the road and it stalled while driving It seems like it's not getting fuel sometimes and I can't hear the fuel pump run when I turn the ignition run. I can't think of anything else I need to tell you. Please help if you have any knowledge of what the heck is wrong with my Jeep.

Good morning,

You have a charging system issue. The battery is being overcharged and the battery is overheating and will fail. In fact, it is already failed.

You need to have this addressed right away. Otherwise, no matter how many batteries you replace, they are all doomed to fail.
