I have a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica that won't start. The battery and auxillary battery are good however the vehicle on clicks when I push the engine start button. It will not switch from Park to Neutral or any other gears. The code I am given is P0850. I bought a Transmission Range Sensor from the dealership for the vehicle Part: 68425023aa but I am not sure if this would work. Any advice on this issue or if there is something else that could be wrong?

Hello,

Yep, it looks like the PNP is out which is located inside the transmission. The Transmission Range Sensor is not a simple external switch like older cars.

P0850 means: Park/Neutral Position (PNP) Switch Input Circuit

The part you bought 68425023AA is typically the range sensor assembly used with the valve body. So the valve body will need to be removed to install the new part. Let me know if you need anything else, I can help. Ken
