When I try to start it, the starter only clicks one time and nothing else happens. I checked the battery and the electrical wires. Everything has the power that it's supposed to. I thought it was the starter so I replaced it, but it still won't start.

Hi,

If the battery terminals are clean and tight and the starter clicks one time, are you sure there isn't an issue with the engine being locked up?

If you take a socket and breaker bar, can you turn the engine by hand at the crankshaft pulley? Also, is it possible for you to record what it does and upload it for me to hear?

Since the starter is new and clicks, either we have a battery issue, a weak connection or corrosion issue at the battery, or something is preventing the starter from being able to turn the engine.

Take a look at this link. You may find it of interest.

Let me know if you can turn the engine and if the battery terminals are both clean, tight, and free of corrosion.

Take care,

Joe
