My car will not start

I bought a used engine after my old engine overheated and turned off. I tried to start the new used engine, it cranks but will not fire over. So I tried spraying it with starter fluid but still will not start. Also unplugged the the computer for thirty seconds so not firing over.

Any suggestions that may help?

Check for codes and check for fuel flow and pressure, check injection pulse and spark. Please post back with what you find for further assistance. It sounds electrical as you have nothing with priming the fuel system.

Spark plugs are new and gas flow is good.

Injection pulse? Are spark plugs wet or dry after start attempt?
