I have a Cadillac 01 SLS and when I go to start the car it doesn't do anything. It will not turn and all the light turn on but the car will not start. I think that it might be the starter but again I don't know that much about cars. Do you know what this might be?

First thing is I would check the battery> Try jump starting it and see if it will turn over.

Second, if you have power, check to see if there is power going to your starter.. Also check the battery terminals to see if there is any corrosion or breaks in the cable.
