Have a 2019 Ford Escape. Since buying it in 2022, it’s been serviced 4 times due to a creaking noise. Told the dealership I felt like I was sliding on ice when driving when accelerating. He looked at me like I was crazy. It got so bad I could drive over 20 mph without drifting. This was in 2025 and I had to pull over and the guys at Advance Auto Parts came out and explained that the metal I felt when I stopped to check the tires was my tire belt.

Took it to a Ford dealer. They said they fixed the problem but it’s still making a creaking noise.

June 2023
-replaced rear sway bar link

July 2023
- replaced control arm (under parts it says Ball joint-front lower)

August 2024
-New break pads and rotors
-4 new tires
-Stabalizer Bar Control Link - parts it says Sway bar link front

April 2025
- 4 new tires
- Left front control arm - nuts bolts
- Bushing and cap
- 4 wheel alignment

July 2025
- attached is a picture of the bushing (at least I think that’s what this is. It’s all ripped up again)! This happened last time. My new breaks are still squealing after a year! They said it would take a few weeks for them to wear in.

I know nothing about cars (but I’m learning). Why is this creaking noise continuing to happen and why am I constantly replacing the same parts. Someone please help because these dealerships have taken thousands of dollars from me and this issue never gets fixed.

I don't see the image? You have had bad luck with wherever you are having it fixed, did they test drive the car before and after you told you it was fixed? You have a fair amount of money into these repairs. I am sorry for this problem. Let's try to get to the bottom of the source of the problem. I would call the dealer and tell them you have the same problem you had when you brought the car in. The only other thing is take it to a different garage for an inspection. Get a new set of eyes on it. Obviously, it is not the tires. This car needs to be test driving by an experienced mechanic. I can help but I need a video detailing the problem so I can see what is going on. Does the problem feel like the front or rear of the car? Also, do you have any warning lights on?
