Mourning dove birds setting on the windshield can they damage the wipers/windshield?

I have a mourning dove that returns to my car every few days. He either perches on the wipers or is nestled in the corner of the windshield just soaking in the sun it seems. Should I worry? Can they damage the wipers/windshield, etc?

Nope, you should be okay, just make sure to clean up any bird droppings so it doesn't effect the paint/finish.

It’s regarding a mourning dove that keeps sitting on my car. I just wanted to know if they can cause any actual damage. I just noticed he keeps returning to my car every few days primarily on the wipers or windshield corner and appears to just be sunbathing but idk much about their behavior

The bird should be okay, they don't do much but poop, so you need to keep the car clean.
