I purchased new rubber inserts for motor mounts but cannot seem to get them inserted. Tried using a hydraulic press but not having success. Any suggestions?

Never replaced them, I just replace the mount. However looking at the bushings I would say to check the mount first, one side is likely beveled to allow the bushing to enter easier. Same with the bushing. Make sure you are using the correct side, there are different pieces for the left(driver) and right (passenger) sides. Then it would be lots of rubber safe lubricant (no oils or petroleum based stuff) and a press and putty knife to guide the edges in.
