Moonroof not closing due to sunshade

The moon roof was opened all the way. When closing the shade does not allow the moon roof to close all the way. The shade does not follow the roof when it is opening. This happened once before but I was not there for what was described as a simple fix.

It sounds like you have having a correlation issue, what happens is the shade has stops on it which get caught on the wrong side of the sunroof, try to pull the shade down a bit and work it behind these stops, please let me know how it goes

Thanks for the reply. As I suspected. I tried finesse but failing that I used sheer force. With the window completely opened I shoved the shade violently over and over until it seated completely.
