I have a 1990 Mitsubish mighty max pickup and the idle is running very high. It almost feels like its stuck or something. My truck will travel at 30 mph with me not even stepping on the peddle and tends to flood out. What might be the problem?

thank you.

take off the IAC moduel and make sure teh pintle iss clean and moving freely.

if thats good make sure the throttle body is clean and the throttle cable isnt hanging up.

if thats good then your going to have to check your vaccum lines for a crack in it or ahole causing air to be sucked in increasing idle.

that can increase it up to 1500 rpms!
