- Check Engine Light

The check engine light came on a few weeks back, then it went off and then on again. After a few more weeks of this on and off, it stayed on solid. I went to the parts store and used their code reader which spelled out P0161 O2 sensor Bank2 Sensor2. After confirming with the Dealership which one it was I ordered and replaced and had the code cleared twice, but within a few minutes it comes back on and stays on. The car runs fine and my mileage has not changed.

What is my next step?

If doing it yourself use a DVOM and test the heater circuit all the way to the B-24 and B23 connectors
Most likley causes for the sensor to set a trouble code are the 02 sensor is NG, not your case!
Open in the left bank heater sensor 2 circuit. Connector damage, or PCM, or the wiring harness.
