2003 spyder Eclipse

I have a 2003 spyder eclipse and sometimes the key won't come out of the ignition. It is like the computer doesn't know that the car is in park. If I put in in park real hard it will come out. Please see if you can help me on the matter. Thank you so very much.

Hey argoxg,
Under that center console, located near or on the shifter is an interlock switch and basically what it does is allow the key to be turned off when your in park. It may be miss adjusted or even have debris etc preventing it from working correctly. I would start to check there first. Let me know!
