1997 Mitsubishi Magna car sounds like a deisel

Hi I just bought a car second hand and on the way home the oil light came on and not long after that it started to sound like a deisel. I pulled up at the servo to look how much oil was in it but it was fine, perhaps a little too full. Perhaps its the tapis, I dunno.

Hi there, the first thing that you need to do is get the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge and report the readings here, I will need cold idle, hot idle and hot @1200RPM's.

Hi there, You need a mechanical oil pressure gauge and it will screw in where the oil pressure sender is, take out the sender and fut the gauge, can you get a gauge?
