2001 Mitsubishi Galant gear failear

Just done tranny rebuilt on the galant, bt smtimes wont engage all the 4 forward gears, but reverse works. I unplugged a connector on the trannt when car running en will engage in all gears bt smtimes the reverse would fail. Whenever either the forward or reverse engages its shkes the mounts so bad that o thought it would brake the mounts. Please help.

Hi there,

This is sounding like an internal fault with the transmission, to diagnose this correctly you need to do a scan to see if there is a code set, and do a line pressure test, but if you have made a mistake with the reassembly you may not know until it is dismantled and inspected.
