Transmission problem
1995 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant. I have buy a new transmission for my galant. So now I bout some transmission fluid to put in it. 7 quartz bottle. Now that the fluid is already in wen I start the car an run for couple of minutes, I have put the car in drive. The car wouldnt move at all I check reverse also, car still wouldnt move. I was ask to check to see how many fluid I must put. But I just got the car an they say 7 so I put 7. An from now the car still wouldnt move. Its like wen I put it in drive it dont sounds like the transmission engage an the linkage is connected also. I need help please

Hi there,

There is an oil level mark on the dip stick, you should be checking the oil with the car running & in neutral, is there any oil on the dip stick and can you see the full mark on the stick?

Ok thanks but I have also check the level an its fine but the car still wouldnt move

There will be an internal problem that need to be investigated, so you now need to go get a few service tests done by a trans specialist, as this will require some special testing equipment.
