2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse possibily of sugar in gas tank

I found three pixie sticks (small sugar candy straws) beside my car below the gas tank. Suspect that someone poured them into the tank. Will this small amount hurt the car. The tank is half full of gasoline. To be safe what should I do. I have not started the engine as of yet. A quick response would be great. If I need to drain the tank what is the easiest way without pulling the tank off. Thank you. Mike F.
