1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start

Eclispe spyder convt. Was told to replace altinator and battery. So, I did. Worked for 2 days. Now it will not start again. Something drainned the new battery. HELP!

There's a short circuit in the electrical system that's draining the battery
