Are you using a spark plug spark tester? And using it properly?
Spark should be bright and blue

Removed spark plug, put wire back on and held to ground on block- nothing! Car quit running while riding down the road--engine just quit and coasted to a stop, would not restart---just turned over!

Is there spark on all cylinders, or just one side?

Distributed or Distributorless coil on plug?

If that is the case then you should change your KPS (crank shaft position sensor) you can check it yourself if you know the proper resistance from the terminals, there is also a way to check it with a halogen light, you can right back if you want to know the procedure as it is long.

It could be your Ignition Module also but then again id have to check it to see if it is bad.
