I have a 2006 Expedition. In the take off. Everything is very smooth up to what ever speed I need. Say 65 or 70. No problems at all. But then, when I reduce speed. Say down to 45-50 and then resume back to 65-70. There is a missing or jumping feeling. Like you are trying to take off in a manual in 3rd geer. This happens frequently at other drops in speed between 45 and 70, but never below 45. Only the upper speeds. However, if I accellerate a little harder. More gas. It goes on smooth and no problem. Any ideas. Thanks Debbie

WHEN ACCELERATING AT LOW SPEED SLOWLY. OR AT A CONSTANT SPEED (LIKE 40 MPH), THEN YOU START PULLING A SLIGHT INCLINE. DOES IT DO IT?

IS YOUR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON?

No, the check engine light is not on, nor has it ever been.
It does not do it in lower speeds no matter how you excellerate.
It only does it in the 45 and up range.
Doesn't matter if you are driving on flat roads or going up hill. Still does it.

Yes, I did have the fuel filter changed about 6 months ago. And come to think of it. This problem started around that time. Could I have gotten a bad one. Or does that happen. Or maybe the wrong one?
No, I haven't checked the fuel pressure. But will do that this weekend.
Is this not sounding like an overdrive problem. Or other transmission issue? I appreciate your help and assistance on this problem.
