Driving downhill, began to shudder and lost power. Stalled and would not start. Pulled codes, p0106, p0300, p0304, p0305, p0306, p0340. I replaced the CMP, and it did not help. What else would cause half the engine to not work?

Well the P0106 is the MAP sensor which would effect the entire engine. However, with the P0340 and one side of the engine giving misfires I would start by pulling the cam sensor back out and verify that the cams are actually turning as a failed timing chain could easily cause all but the MAP code. Or do a compression check on those cylinders and see if you get anything.
