Hello,

Okay, a quick question before we start, is your vehicle a natural gas vehicle? Direct Trouble Code[DTC] P1152 is DTC specifically for a natural gas vehicle. Anyway all of the DTC troubleshooting guides have one thing in common, where I would have started anyway, by checking the vacuum system, including the air intake tract, for leaks. I have the same engine, a 4.6L in my Mustang, and it is not happy if there is a vacuum leak. These engines do not do well at all if there is any vacuum leak anywhere. Check the air intake, throttle body, intake manifold, vacuum hoses, and EVAPorative emissions[EVAP] hoses, PCV, and idle air hoses for any leaks. Here is a link for a generic guide explaining what to check for vacuum leaks below:

Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out. We can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank u for getting back to me. I did not find any vacuum lines leaking after I inspected them. I also did the carb cleaner test nothing there either. But my brakes r spongy so I bleed them. It ran better when I drove it to test the brakes. But the next morning it ran rough again and my brakes where spongy again. With the truck running I can mash the brake pedal and it holds for a second the gradually goes all the way to the floor. Could it be the master cylinder or the booster gone bad? Please let me know what u think. An again thanks for your help.

Hello again,

Absolutely, this could a problem with the Power Brake Booster on your vehicle, which requires engine vacuum to operate properly. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer on how to inspect and test your vehicle's Power Brake Booster for proper operation. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
