Mini requires that you pull the interior door handle twice before the door will open. The drivers door is a little difficult. It requires a lot more PULL on the handle than the pass side and my wife can't make it work at all. She opens the window and uses the outside handle. Any advise on what adjustments I can make to get it to operate like the pass side?

I think pulling the handle twice to open is normal. The first pull unlocks the door, the second pull opens the door. If the car has not been driven since the door was open, then the door should open on the first pull. As far as being hard to pull, maybe try getting some lube on the linkage to the door latch and the latch itself.
