2001 Mercury Sable

My 2001 mercury sable would start but it would not go in drive. We noticed it was low on transmission fluid so we filled it up. I had had a transmission oil change about 2 months ago. It will now go but it seems to struggle and rev beyond what it should.

Hi:
If the engine is reving and the car isn't coing as fast as it should be, check again to make sure the trans fluid is full. Fill it if it isn't.

If the fluid is full, it sounds like the clutches are bad and causing it to slip.
