2001 Mercury Sable

While driving my mercury the door open indicator light on the dash will come on and then the doors will lock and unlock repeatedy. Also the interior lights will come on and stay on for extended periords at the same time. What could be causing this to happen.

Door switch
the question is witch one
most likely driver door
take door panel out and disconnect and or replace the switch
or you can try to spray it with WD40 close and open door and spray again
