1997 Mercury Sable Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

Had malfunction code P0401. Was told most likely the EGR flow is insufficient. Purchased an EGR pressure feedback sensor. Where is it mounted in the engine compartment?

Right on top of the engine at the side of the throttle, the two exhaust hoses from the pipe that connects to the egr, plug into it. Make sure you remove the egr valve and clean the port out. All the way to the throttlebody. I use a coathanger to do it, then reset the light, you may not need this or any part. Just clean the port!
