1999 Mercury Mountaineer rotors

What do I need to do to replace the front rotors, is there a lot of things to remove first I haven!T taken anything off yet does it involve removing front axle bolts or nuts I have some brake work but never on 4 wheel drive, thank you

Removal & Installation (4WD Models - Except Super Duty Pickup) 1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove anchor plate and caliper assembly. See DISC BRAKE CALIPERS & PADS. Remove rotor. 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. Slip ons.
