How do you replace a heater coil in a 1987 mercury grand marquis?
have the same problem?

FOr the record, it is a heater "core" not "coil". I suggest picking up a chilton's manual for the procedure.

The whole plenum box must be removed to access the core! I did an 86 town car 7 hours of solid work!
