Have had my car in to see a mechaine. Still have the same problem. Driving orsetting in my drive way. The car will just die. If you do not turn thr key off and crank the engine will crank but will not start. Turn the key off then try to start and it will start. While Driven the woring light for the coolenl will come on for a short time. (On then off ). Then it will die going down the street or High way speed does not matter. And it start jerking like the transmisson is slipping.

My first thoughts are fuel filter or fuel pump. If the filter is changed or ok, you should run a fuel pressure test to see how it's pumping. Please advise.

Thank your for your donation. A running engine will only die if it looses spark or fuel. You said that your were seeing a coolant warning light, have your ecm scanned for trouble codes. Since you have to reset the key to get it to start after it dies, it could be an ecm problem (computer), a failing coolant temperature sensor or the main power relay.
