2002 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Does my car have a main fuse or breaker somewhere? The only things that work are my fog lights the interior lights and the horn and the door locks, the car has no power otherwise, it doesnt crank or no dash lights come on when the ignition is turned to the on position or to start it.

Ok no there is on main fuse however there is battery junction box near the battery in the left (drivers side) front corner of the engine compartment. Now there is a wire going to it that comes right off the battery. You need to check that for any breaks or corrosion or if it just broke and not attached to the box. This sends power to most of the vehicle the only seperate circuit is the headlights Hopefully this will help. Let me know what you find and we will go from there.
