Engine Performance problem
1997 Mercury Cougar V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 149064 miles

when pulling out from a dead stop the car has no power, just replaced the transmission and ran fine, I think it may be the throtle body censor but am unsure could it be some thing else?
