well for one thing when it rains or it is cold out my car wont start it tries to but it wont and also my friend and I were trying to figure out what was wrong and I pulled out my oil dipstick to check my oil and it smells like gas and its not as thick as it should be and its very shiny and clear and I have changed my oil recently. I didn't know if maybe I need to change my plug wires or maybe its because I only drive to work and back and its 4 blocks away and my car doesnt have enough time to warm up or what it could be.

Gas in the oil not good, try to burn it with a lighter, if it burns theres gas in there and you will want to change that right away and not run it.

Wouldnt have anythign to do with the short running.

I think it may be in your ignition ssytem causing the cylinders to flood with fuel and be forced pass the rings and into the crankcase.

Check for leaky injectors also.
