i have a convertable top and i cant open it is there a lever or button that i cant find

This is a two step process. You should have a couple of release handles at each side of the top. Open the handles. Next, with the car running, find the top up/down button located on the center console. This is a red button that illuminates when actuated. Hold button in back position to lower and down to raise.
