2001 Mercedes Benz S500 PAss Side turn signal on mirror

Pass side mirror turn signal goes out. LED light works, but seems a bad connection. If you tap it it will work for a day or so and then off. Pulled mirror tryed to clean and put back. Same results. Trying to avoid $600 relacement mirror. Any suggestions?

Besides totally disecting unit and trying to repair a bad solder joint, if you can find one, your only option is to replace the light. Have you tried a salvage yard? 600 is alot of clams.
