I own a 1985 mercedes 500 sel V8 with a 5.0 in it. I am having troubles with my heater and I was told there is a reset switch some where under the hood I was wondering if this is true and if so where is it at

I have a 1985 300dt and the heat will only work when the car is parked. As soon as I start driving, the heat turns to cold air. If you find a solution, please let me know. Thanks.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
