2002 Other Mercedes Benz Models key will not turn when you p

I have a 2002 slk32 amg merz and when I try to turn the car on the key will not turn its like it is locked I have checked the car battery it is full and I have changed the batteries in my keyring and thats not it either, what do yu think it might be and how much does that part cost?

Have you tried spraying the key tumblers with a lubricant of a type and korking the key back an forth?
It may be a typo error, but if the car only has 25K on it, this should be under warranty. Please advise.
