2000 Other Mercedes Benz Models A140 Possible suspension pro

I have just bought the wife a Merc A140 Elegance 2000 W plate on 46000 miles. We have had the car for a month and when bought was immaculate, unfortunately just recently there is a loud knocking coming from the rear passenger side underneath the car when going over speed bumps or taking a corner, usually when the weight distribution is left to right. Any ideas what it may be and possible cost to repair?

This could be a spring problem or a worn rear training arm both are common, if you can jack up the rear wheel and hand brake off can you grap the tyre horizontally and pull and push
(any movement is an indicator of wear in trailing arm )
both repairs should be carried out in a workshop
