My temperature gauge in the instrument cluster reads 122 f degrees, even if its 30 f degrees in reality. How could I re calibrate this gauge to read properly

If your outside temp sensor is reading 122F this means one of two things. Either the outside temp sensor is failed or it has fallen off it's mounting bracket and is reading the temp inside the enigne compartment. Both are very common. Your outside temp sensor is located in your front bumper. It is usually mounted on the lower drivers side. You will notice a hole cut about the size of a quarter. If there is nothing in this hole then take a flash light and look into the hole. You will see a probe about half the length of a pencil. This probe should be mounted so that it points out of the quater size hole. The sensor itself can be changed easily by removing the belly pans under the sensor.
