Heavy white smoke only comes from the tail pipe after the car is running for a few minutes and ONLY lasts for about a minute or two, then it goes away. I do not believe the head gasket is leaking because there is no loss of antifreeze. When the white smoke occurs, the engine almost dies out when stepping on the gas as if gas was flooding in and almost choking off the engine. Once the excess gas seems to burn off, it goes away and does not return until the next morning. Is it an air flow mix adjustment?

This is not a misture issue this is a blown head gasket. The white smoke is burning coolant. Although this may be a very small leak now, it will become more serious over time.
