Hey - I'm trying to get the fuel pump out my 65 220s and have this bolt circled in yellow that I'm fighting to get off.

Can anyone suggest how this kind of attachment is removed?

Thanks!

Hi there,

No pic! But the pumps are normally fitted with a 5mm allan key head.

Hey Marc - thanks.

Found out it's a compression fitting. Just cautious about applying to much torque to loosen the top bolt. Don't want to damage the piping on the fuel feed line running out the top.

Was doing it backwards and trying to loosen the bottom hex screw.

Hi there,

OK, was thinking that you wanted the pump off the block, you need a pipe spanner, thats like a ring with one section removed, if you try with a standard open end spanner you may round off the flair nut.
