2005 Mercedes Benz ML350 car won't start

My car has done this 3 times now...I am at a stop or just about to stop and the car stalls... then I can't get it to turn over .. then after about 1/2 hour.. the car starts fine??? any ideas??

This sounds like one of two issues. Either your crankshaft position sensor is faulty and loosing signal which causes the vehicle to stall and not restart. With this condtition after a while the sensor will just come alive and work fine. This can also occur with a faulty camshaft position sensor as well with the same results. Do you have any warning lights on in the dash?
