Engine Performance problem
1998 Mercedes Benz ML320 All Wheel Drive Automatic 72000 miles

I woke this morning to a dead battery. AAA came to jump my car and it started just fine. They checked the battery and said it was still OK. So, I let it run for about 20 minutes. I tried to drive and when I put the gas on. It hardly moves. Now it sounds like it is struggling to stay on.

If you press the gas and you have severe hesitation you may have a faile Mass airflow sensor. The jump may have just been coincedent. However also keep in mind that a failed throttle position sensor may cause this as well. Do you have any check engine lights on?
