Aftera long drive (100 miles or more) the car sputters and dies.

If the vehicle is sputtering out, like its running out of gas, you may have a clogged fuel filter or faulty fuel pump. A severelly clogged fuel filter can greatly hinder the ability for fuel to be delivered to the vehicle.
