2001 Mercedes Benz C320 no go

The car starts and idles just fine but when I push the accellerator, nothing happens for about 4 or 5 seconds. Then it slowly starts comming up to speed and when I'm revving it in park, it sounds like it's missing or just not revving smoothly.

If you are not getting any response from your foot pedal you are more than likely experiencing a failed Throttle Position Sensor. Once failed they will often hae dead spots in the sensor causing no throttle response conditions.
