2002 Mercedes Benz C180 car stereo steering wheel controls

I have recently had my car stereo stolen and am in the process of replacing it but I do not know what connections are required and if I can get the steering wheel controls to work with a new radio. Have you any idea what adaptor of connections will be required?

This entirely depends on the replacement unit you use what make and manufacturer. Each manufacturer will make an adapter for most models. If the wiring harness is in tact you can put a foctory radio right in and it will be compatable with everything however may require coding.
