I can't get crankshaft dampener bolt loose, is it reverse thread ?

I don't think they are reverse thread. How are you trying to take the bolt off? If you are using an impact, the timing belt will absorb the impact of the impact wrench. You need to hold the flywheel and try a breaker bar. Hope this helps!

thanks for your response, have tried both methods impact &breaker bar, I broke 2 extentions trying to remove bolt with half inch drive . now what? I am very mechanically inclined just first time on this type of problem....

Some of the imports use thread locker and need heat to be broken loose.
